Udo

Around Jeju there are many smaller islands. The largest of them is Udo, north-east of Jeju. If you start early you could walk round Udo along the coastline in a single day. However, we arrived with the ferry from the main islands rather late, so we only walked the most interesting part of it.

Flintstone table!

The symbol of Jeju looks a bit like...

We walked all the way up to the highest point of the island. On the far left you can see the ferry we arrived on.

Almost at the top.

Tired from the climb we finally reached the top with a view over almost the whole island.

image
Unfortunately, some idiot had blocked the trail with this stupid fence. So we had to retrace our steps by descending and ascending once again at the the other side of the fence.

On our way up again we encountered miniature versions of lighthouse from all over the world. This was the only real life one.

This is what happens to your hand if you fap too much.

From the top we saw many stone tombs, where important people where buried.

We found them all over the island, usually with a small wall around them.

Time to go down again.

Near he village we found the only sand beach of the island.

On closer inspection we found it was littered with loads of rotting see weed, I almost barfed.

Some girl was selling all kinds of horrible seafood snacks between the disgusting weed and thousands of buzzing flies. We passed.

image
These little creatures apperently enjoyed the smell of the rotting stuff. We saw the everywhere on the beaches of Jeju and Udo. The are really fast and stress out when they see you.

Back on the boat we saw the singer of Gangnam style.
